Acceptance.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait..
Why stress something you can’t change?
Mental energy is meant for decision making
If the decisions already been made, then it’s out of your control
You can be upset at seeing something you didn’t expect
Making note of it and how it hurt you
Gathering data for later conflicts to aid in future decision making
But, as far as letting shitty things linger
Why?
You already know that it hurt.
You don’t need to stay there.
Pain is a feeling not a way of living.
Feelings are data, not directive.
They aid in a response, but don’t decide actions.
We do, as a complete vessel.
Our responsibility is only to enjoy the passage of time
And respond accordingly with our best judgment of the moment.
If something causes you pain,
Acknowledge it and let it be.
That is the process of moving on:
Not ignorance, but acceptance of what is outside of our control.
Which is most things.
