The definition of insanity

Going back and forth

Between you and me

Seeing things

I’ve already seen

What does this mean for me

Am I where I’m supposed to be

Or is this

The definition of insanity

It’s so easy for me

To slip out of my ideal reality

And invest in the insanity

That makes so much more sense to me.

Parallel realities, conspiracy theories,

Is this what’s meant for me

Or is this

The definition of insanity?
