From beginning to end

To put in perspective

The time I have spent

And what I have left

Morbid though it might be

I have to sense to feel

The legitimacy

Of my thoughts

To commit or brush past

Decisions and destinies

As they come to be

I’d like to remember

More of my lifetime

Before my final ride.

Death is inevitable

So, may I dare to be.
