Valuable Pain.

It’s so unexpected though inevitable.

What felt like it could’ve been forever

Has indeed passed in the blink of an eye

While my decisions have been easy to make

Seeing life come to pass in this fashion

Is beautiful and disgusting all at the same time

Who knew life outside my home

was rewarding enough to excuse being

in a constant state of fear and loss

It seems inevitable when living outside of yourself

This value is painful

That cannot be denied,

but it’s worth it so that’s why it’s fine.

Humanities wild, it seems like..
