December Sunrise Clouds Uplifting Healing

I was just sitting here trying to write and realized it was about that time again to update everyone on the progress since my last motivated blog statement. This week, I focused on implementing choices and actions every day to improve my response to the extra stressors that came to a head last week. I am happy to report that I have followed through on the plan I had of waking up at the same time every day and moving first thing, except on the days where I have an earlier start, for consistency and a little bit of comfort.

In addition to this I have made some progress on The Ghost Trackers Vol. 0.5 set to be released to my newsletter subscribers (see below) sometime next month. I have pulled together all the notes that I can find from my original rendition of GTC Vol. 1 which I began back in 2016. This helped lay the groundwork for the novella and set the skeleton for what I’ll now be brining together this week.

It turns out a have a lot more writing on the horizon than I originally anticipated. Some of the scenes I thought I had written fairly well back then, are very clearly first draft scribbles that I planned to flesh out later on. Meaning, I can see the same vision but the description is falling flat all around. That being said, as of last night I have officially re written the first chapter and into the next of what I expect to be a 7 Chapter story in total.

In regards to my emotional regulation journey, I was not only able to stay calm thanks to regulating beliefs and getting myself moving first thing in the morning EVERY morning. I was also able to stay calm enough to observe confirmation of the patterns that my reactive past self wasn’t prepared for.

This week, I’m beginning to expand and organize these habits, now that I’ve successfully proven their baseline validity (Ope* coming out!). I’m going to be cleaning up my Finch App tasks, hopefully once I’m done writing here, to narrow in on my progress in the next week or more efficiently to continue growing next week.

Currently, most of my Finches tasks are thought statements that I needed to keep re reading so that I could drill them in and progress to the point of action that I’m finally riding out. They will stay in my archive until further notice having served their purpose up to now. Thanks to their implementation, I no longer need to spend my time reading these 36+ statements and instead can continue progressing on my necessary actions.

One thing that did fall to the wayside this week was my journaling. I was writing my work, home, and health activities in my Erin Condren weekly planner up until about two or three days ago. Hence, wanting to move that tracking into my Finch App since it’s something I have been able to keep up with for the last 270 or so days and counting. Interestingly, that’s also about what I have left until my intended publication date.

Let me know if you’ve ever used this app or any other for your habit tracking or accountability practices. If you’d like more content and notifications, sign up for my upcoming newsletter below and follow my social media!

Best Wishes,
